How it it already June?! This year is just flying by WAY too fast!

Even though I'm a little baffled how it can already be June, I am excited for warmer weather, more daylight, and all things summer! 

Growing up, summer was full of barbecues full of all the best midwest foods -- ribs that fall off the bone, chicken that melts in your mouth, hotdogs and hamburgers that are so juicy you drip down your face, homemade ice cream that you eat soft because you just can't wait for it to freeze all the way, and so many s'mores you make yourself sick. 

As an adult living in an apartment, I don't get to partake in these summer indulgences as often as I'd like, but I definitely take advantage when I can! It's what makes summer feel like summer.

About this month's design

Summer demands brighter colors. And I'm so excited about this fun pattern!

For those of you that don't know, I am not an illustrator. So I rely on the amazing talents of those that are gifted in this skill. And this month I'm loving the work in this pattern by Desiree Lange* - ain't it pretty? I've literally been waiting for 2 months to share this pattern with y'all!
