From Burned Out Teacher to Systems & Productivity Educator & Coach
How did a girl from a small town in Missouri who started out her career teaching Physics to ninth graders end up in living in Silicon Valley, California, running her own business and helping creatives organize their businesses through systems and workflows?
I'm about to tell ya!
This journey has been pretty windy and there've been lots of ups and down (and tons of tears). It hasn't always been easy, but it has all been worth it!
In this episode I share how I got from that small town in Missouri to here today.

In today's episode:
- How I burned out (and didn't even realize it) in just two years of teaching
- Why I moved from Missouri to California
- Why it's okay to start doing something you're good at, but maybe not passionate about
- The importance of quieting the noise and listening to yourself
- Several lessons I've learned along the way
Today's Permission Slip:
Each episode I give you a permission slip - a reminder to give yourself permission to run your business and live your dream life on your own terms.
Today's permission slip is to give yourself permission to really feel how you are feeling about everything your business. What things are you loving? What things are getting you excited and energized? What things are you dreading and putting off? Let yourself really feel all of this today so you can decide where to put your energy tomorrow.
I give myself permission to lean into how I feel about everything in my business today so I can make sure I am heading in the right direction.
